MCLAREN HOSPITAL PETOSKEY SELECTS SHARON HUBBARD ARTWORK FOR NEW COLLECTION

Four paintings by Sharon Hubbard have been selected for the permanent collection of McLaren Hospital - Petoskey.  The works, collectively titled 'Lakeside Mornings', are acrylic on canvas and will be permanently displayed on the second floor of the new hospital wing.

Artwork for the new collection was curated by Distinctive Art Source in Manassas, VA.

​

Works were selected for installation based upon their therapeutic, healing imagery.

Crooked Tree Artists Guild has selected 'Inland Seashore' and 'Keeping it Blue' by artist Sharon Hubbard for inclusion in their annual member exhibition.

The 2021 show will be a virtual event showcasing artists from the northern Michigan area.  The entire catalog of work can be viewed here:

Selected for the 2021 Crooked Tree Artists Guild virtual show.

WAUGOSHANCE POINT

Acrylic and mixed media on canvas

20" x 26" with floating black and pewter stained wood frame.

Includes driftwood, hexagonaria and favosite fossils, Leland Blue, limestone, granite, unakite, epidote, quartz, basalt, beach glass, sand, mussel shell, wool, and silica beads.

This painting will be part of the Crooked Tree Art Center's annual fundraiser exhibition called "Dart for Art". Tickets for the July 14th and 15th event can be purchased in advance only from CTAC.
